I wasn't planning on making this into a low poly model but then I did anyway. Finished in a couple of nights, I couldn't work on it until tonight since Sunday though. This is the first hand painted texture I've done in ages, by the way.
Nice work! You did a great job creating the different materials, I especially like the fleshy bits.
The anatomy on the skull could use a lot of work, however. It's close, but it makes me think you weren't looking at ref when you sculpted this (I don't know) and it really brings down an otherwise high-quality piece. Also, using the skull as scale-reference, I don't think anyone's arm would fit through the holes cut in the back.
It did (I was using reference), and I exaggerated certain parts of it on purpose. Originally I experimented with a few different features that would've made it look very non-human. But in the end I got rid of them and decided to just keep it like that. So, yeah, I agree, it's not very realistic, but that wasn't my goal in the first place.
